CATV Erbium-doped Fiber Amplifier Rack

This 19" Rack EDFA is designed for CATV long distance transmission, amplifying low signal power into high signal power, extending transmission distance.

Both input and output signals are sampled and monitored with a feedback circuit. APC (automatic power control) circuit is designed into the amplifier to ensure high stability and reliability of output power. Based on integrated power monitoring circuit, this amplifier features Ethernet or RS-232 (or RS-485) network interface, capable to support open network management protocol (SNMP) as an option, adding flexibility to maintain connectivity with customer's network management system.

As an option, by using a select set of multi-channels splitters with extremely high reliability and low IL values, users can split the output signal into multiple ports.
